Enroll in the 60-Hour Prelicense Course
There are two options to take the Prelicense Course:
Once you complete the 60-hour Prelicense Course, you will need to take and pass the school test with a score of 85% or better.

Interview with Brokers to determine where you are going to place your temporary license.

Register for the Alabama State Real Estate Exam at www.goAMP.com.
After passing the State Exam, you have 90 days to place your temporary license with a licensed real estate broker. That broker will send your paperwork to the Alabama Real Estate Commission to apply for your temporary license. Click Here for Estimated Cost.
After receiving your temporary license from the Alabama Real Estate Commission, you may start your 30-hour Post License Course online.
There are two options to take the Post License Course:
After completing the Post License Course, you must take a school test and pass with a score of 70% or better.
Notify your Broker after passing the school test and they will send the proper salesperson's paperwork to the Alabama Real Estate Commission to obtain your original license.
